Aya Inc is guided by the principle that professional Black women (millennial on up) could be a great source of support for college students who may need guidance on how to navigate the workplace and their careers. Our professional mentors help college students to create their professional pathways and lean into their own experiences in the working world in order to help students prepare for the challenges that they may face. We center Black women in this work because we know that Black women face greater challenges as it relates to landing career starting jobs and maintaining the same salaries as their counterparts.
Over the years, the relationship between our professional mentors and college mentees have lead to a more life long sister-like bond where both mentors and mentees benefit.
