Our Mission

Founded by Howard University alumna, Aya Inc. is a non-profit and campus organization that prepares young women of color to pursue professional endeavors through leadership training and mentorship.

Our dual mentorship program connects young professional women to undergraduate student women at Howard University and those same undergraduate Howard University students to high school girls in Washington DC. Our curriculum includes a mix of leadership, entrepreneurship, and professional development activities and discussions for high school and undergraduate students. Furthermore, we maintain alumnae engagement through 2.0 workshops that address advance skillsets such as salary negotiation training. 

Through mentorship and weekly workshops, Aya Inc. empowers young women to boldly pursue their professional endeavors, expands their network and prepares them for leadership.
